What do you pack for a seaside visit? Towel, diving mask… ?
In my case add a tiny crochet hook and a rainbow of Italian crochet thread.
Because nothing says “relaxation” like stitching a cherry next to crashing waves.
I finished my tiniest set yet:
17 miniature crochet fruits, handmade with 100% Italian thread using every free minute from the beachside to quiet late-night stitching at home.
Some pieces got upgraded mid-project — because a pineapple deserves realism too, you know?
I redesigned the kiwi twice just to get the fuzziness right! (Is it even a kiwi if it’s not slightly fuzzy?)
I’ve always loved crocheting fruits and vegetables. They’re vibrant, playful and just deliciously joyful — without any need for refrigeration.

Each one is about 1–2 cm of colorful, squishy cuteness: from strawberries to orange slices, kiwis and teeny watermelon wedges.
